BethAri limited selected by West African Health Organisation (WAHO) - 01 Nov 2015
BethAri Limited has been selected by the West African Health Organisation (WAHO) to help facilitate seven (7) ECOWAS* member states implement a robust Quality Management System (QMS) infrastructure to meet the International Standard Organization (ISO 9001) certification also enabling Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S) Ascension for these National Medicines Regulatory Authorities (NMRAs).
This project is in alignment with the strategic objective of WAHO in implementing the regional pharmaceutical manufacturing plan for West Africa as endorsed by ECOWAS. The seven NMRAs are those of Cape Verde, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
BethAri is delighted to have been chosen to deliver this project across the West African region. The managing director of BethAri limited, Dr Madichie, further stated that his organisation is pleased to have been selected to help deliver this regional plan as part of the wider African pharmaceutical manufacturing plan to develop a road map for human resource capacity and infrastructural development.
